Wellcome!!

The main goal of the stable has been breeding warm blood horses since it was founded in 1975. The family estate of the stable's owner, Marja Haula, was earlier used for farming. The foundation mares were bought from the breeding area of the hanoverian horses in Germany. Today, over 40 foals bred by Marja Haula have been born.

The stable was also rented out for some years, but even then foals and breeding remained the main point of the operation. Currently there are 11 horses in the stable.

During the last few years the stable has acquired daughters of the foundation mares on lease, thus having been able to maintain the same mare line in breeding throughout the years. The foundation mare Dania's line has been dominant in breeding for years now. From this line a filly was born in May 2009. The dam of this filly is Ravenna (by WG Rockefeller, out of Pepping) and sire BH Romanov. The mares have also been leased for breeding for a couple of times. These foals, as well as the other descendants of the Koivukari horses, have been marked with white in the family tree on the "The Family Tree of the Koivukari Horses"-page.
